Awareness Tracking For Body & Mind

I have been religiously tracking my body and mind on a daily basis for a few months now. It is well and truly a habit and something I now feel uncomfortable not doing.

Why do I track my body and mind daily?

I was inspired by a book I read called “Period Power” by Maisie Hill. In this book, Maisie advised tracking against the menstrual cycle to look for patterns and better understand myself at different times of the month. I was in a less than ideal state when it came to energy levels and I was fascinated by what I was noticing in myself even as I read through the book.

Since starting this new practice of tracking my body and mind , I have found a much greater understanding of my body. I didn’t start with every element on the first day, or even the first week. I picked one thing to track and added to it gradually. Within a week or two, I was fascinated and couldn’t help myself trying to fill out as many fields as possible.

How has awareness tracking helped me?

When I first started awareness tracking, I had no idea what to expect. I trusted the advice of someone who helps hundreds of women overcome tricky health issues often surrounding menstrual pain, infertility, hormone imbalance and fatigue. I was not disappointed with the advice.

Tracking my body and mind gives me greater awareness. It allows me to notice what is going on and to look back across the data of many days, weeks or months. It has allowed me to notice which changes of behaviour improved my health and energy levels. It enables me to have more compassion for myself.

As a menstruating female, it allows me to understand why I am feeling the way I do and to accept it for what it is, whilst know what I have the power to change. If you want to hear more about this, check out the podcast I recorded with bestselling author Maisie Hill on LIVING MORE OF A LIFE podcast, called ‘The Power Of Knowing Your Cycle & Yourself’.

Would you like to get to know yourself better by tracking your body and mind?

I’ve designed an awareness tracker form and I’d love you to give it to you. Over time, you may change how you track, but often the reason we don’t start is because we need a little help to know how. After I send you the awareness tracker, you are more than welcome to unsubscribe immediately or at any time. If you don’t, I promise to send you a few more super helpful pointers to further your awareness journey. I’m far too busy to spam you. This awareness tracker is suitable for any gender.
