“Arriving at the venue, I could feel those knots trying to come back so I closed my eyes and breathed. I met the registrars and they asked if I was nervous and I surprised myself with the answer, “No”.”

Is anxiety a significant problem in the rest of your life? If so, I’d advise full breathing retraining when you are ready.

Why would wedding anxiety be a catalyst for Breathing Retraining?

In all reality, if you are experiencing strong anxiety around your wedding day, you are likely not breathing healthily in life already.

This might look like upper chest movement when breathing, tongue sitting in the bottom of your mouth against your bottom front teeth, shallow breaths, visibly large breaths or fast breathing. You may stress breath hold regularly, hyperventilate easily or just hold a lot of tension in your upper neck, chest and shoulders.

You might snore or breathe through your mouth at night.

Your wedding anxiety has just led you here, in order to open your eyes to breathing retraining as a solution to improve the following:

  • chronic stress

  • anxiety

  • panic attacks

  • snoring

  • poor sleep

  • poor asthma management

  • and more…

I’ve never heard of Breathing Retraining, is it really a thing?

It sounds ridiculous I know, but yes, breathing retraining is definitely a ‘thing’, as Emma Reed, ex Lawyer, now writer found out.

Read her personal and detailed account of approaching breathing retraining for the first time.

Below, you’ll also find video testimonials from a variety of clients, from CEOs and Lawyers, to Business Owners & Retirees.

How can Breathing Retraining benefit me beyond my wedding day?

Feel Healthier

Experiencing symptoms linked to unhealthy breathing? Snoring, poor sleep, anxiety, fatigue, foggy brain, breathlessness, panic attacks, asthma, tired muscles? Retraining your breathing is within your control.

Feel Empowered

We often don’t realise what tools are within our control. By understanding yourself and your breathing better, you can adapt how you perform, respond and feel. Wouldn’t you like to know how to utilise these tools?

Feel Safe

Our bodies react to stressors all day long. You can use breathing awareness to notice when your body does not feel safe and consciously control your breathing until you notice a positive calming change.

Breathing Retraining Client Video Testimonials

We breathe more than 20,000 times per day. Imagine if those 20,000 were just slightly healthier each time. That is incremental improvement with very little effort.

Frequently asked questions

Is this anxiety breathing course safe for pregnant brides?

Yes. All of my breathing retraining courses have pregnancy warnings at any point which may involve extended breath holds. This is what you want to avoid during pregnancy, especially the first trimester. I err on the side of caution with pregnancy warnings. For the parts of the course which are not advised during pregnancy, you can return to them afterwards to make the progress you were unable to before in your own time.

Are brides of all faiths & backgrounds welcome?

Of course. If you are feeling anxious before your Mendhi, Nikkah, Nisuin, civil ceremony or any other type of wedding celebration, you are welcome here. No matter what ethnicity, faith or background you have, you are welcome on this breathing course and in my 1-2-1 training.
